Need Help Creating Habits?

I will start off by saying that I don't do New Year's Resolutions, just the idea behind it gives me a negative feeling and I think it has a negative stigma surrounding it. However, you do you if you enjoy setting resolutions, this is just my personal opinion! I do like to set goals and create habits and when I create my Vision Board for the upcoming year, I take a close look at what I need to do in order to make that vision board come to life and I will share my process with you!


So, first a create a digital vision board using Canva. It's easy and I can add and customize in an unlimited amount of ways, long gone are the days of cutting out old magazines and pasting onto a poster board! This is way more fun, and a lot less messy! See an example below:

Once I've created my vision board and I have a visual to look at every day, I may set it as a background on my desktop and phone so I make sure to see it every day. Then I make a list of the steps I need to take to reach these big goals and I add them to a habit tracking sheet, starting with step #1. Starting with a small step, makes the process seem far less daunting and the smaller goals are easy to accomplish, once I reach a goal, I move onto the next! I used to create vision boards thinking that just because I wanted what was on there, I was just going to be able to manifest it! Well, there is some work that goes into it but I have been able to successfully create a life I've dreamed just from using this practice!


I use a lot of different techniques like this with my clients and I've been able to see them reach their goals and it's such an amazing thing to witness!
